Ms. Brown helps businesses connect with vital social and emotional learning opportunities. CHP provides training, coaching and consulting for organizations seeking to improve team performance, especially in the face of remote teaming and the stress of COVID-19 on team members.
Ms. Brown is a Marketing/PR specialist for the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement, a nonprofit organization with a mission of giving all students access to social and emotional learning (SEL) and character development and fostering this teaching in schools, at home, and in communities to create a safer, more peaceful and loving world. She is a veteran journalist with Hearst Connecticut Media Group with more than twenty years of experience. She writes about a wide spectrum of subjects for Hearst’s numerous supplements and writes a monthly column, Chef’s Special, in Connecticut Magazine. In addition, Ms. Brown contributes to a variety of other publications, including Inside Chappaqua, Health Watch, and Woodstock Magazine. She graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a BS in Justice & Law Administration and a minor in Political Science, and a Master of Arts in English with a concentration in American Literature. She’s former adjunct professor of English at Western and author of Faithful Love, a romance-adventure novel.
